Secret Heart Tattoo
I was working in a popular tattoo convention in Switzerland when I was approached by a client looking for a secret heart tattoo. He had seen some of my work before and had travled a long way to have a tattoo from me! With his secret heart he also wanted a skull, an 8 ball, thorns and a lightning bolt all bought together in a new scool style framed nicley on his leg. Well new school and old school are a couple of my favorite styles to work on, and as he had seen some of my previous work he said not to stencil anything, but just to go nuts with a sharpy pen and see how it come out! So I free hand drew the whole design with which the client was extremely happy with!

Eloise' Flower Tribal
Eloise came into the studio looking for a flower. After we had spoken for a bit I took a look at a few of her other tattoos and there seemed to be a running theme of tribal designs, so I suggested to her, instead of just a flow completely different from her others, why not keep the running theme of a tribal and incorporate a beautiful flower into the design. She loved the idea and I set about drawing the design up for her. She was over the moon with her tattoo and had already said she would like to come in soon to extend it into a tribal garden!

Matt's Gypsy Skulls
Matt came into the studio already with a clear idea of what he was looking for. He wanted a pair of old school gypsy skulls on his stomach. He had seen some of my old school designs and thought my style was perfect for his idea!
Matt already had an initial sketch of how he wanted it to look, though the idea being a relatively popular one his design was a bit similar to others he had seen and was a tiny bit basic. I took the initial design away to rework it into a unique design just for him!

Duane’s Tribal Dragon tattoo This design took a lot of thought, the customer brought me an initial picture he liked as a starting point, and I then re-drew the design to fit the part of the body he wanted the tattoo on. I then did some study drawings to show Duane and emailed them to him so he could tell me what he liked. Once we were both happy I did a final drawing with the details inside to make the stencil from. |

Kamila's Tribal/Kanji Design Kamila was looking for a tribal piece to go on his arm, however he wanted it to not only be slightly different from your average tribal, he wanted to incorporate 3 kanji symbols. I set about designing it so it followed the contours of his arm, and added the different layers of shadow going over and in the design, leaving it completely unique to Kamila, then within one of the layers I inserted the kanji symbols. After emailing Kamila the design he loved it, however decided to change the kanji's to say his daughters’ name. On the right you will see the finished design. |

Lucas' Scorpion Design When Lucas came into the studio, He had already been eyeing up a scorpion design from one of our flash books, however he had his heart set on getting the design going down his arm, a place that did not lend itself well to the shape of the original design. He also just wanted the tattoo in black and grey, with bright green eyes. To get the shape perfect for his arm I freehand drew the scorpion onto his arm using felt tip and the original design as reference. I then did the tattoo the specific colors he was looking for. Lucas was over the moon with the finished result! |

One of the first Custom designs I did when I got to Ouch! The client approached Miguel with an idea to extend his previous tattoo. He already had a fantastic Angel on his arm and was looking to extend the design into a shoulder piece, incorporating holy light, clouds and a cherub figure holding a scroll which could display a name at a later date. Loving the idea so much I asked Miguel if I could have a go at the design, which he agreed to, so I set about drawing. I made sure I took on board the clients specifications, whilst creating a tattoo that sat beautifully over a shoulder. I emailed the initial design and the mock up photo to the client, who was extremely happy with my design, thankfully so was Miguel! On the day, a stencil was made for the cherub and scroll, however Miguel freehand drew the clouds in felt tip, as this is the best way to get straight lines over a curvy body! Miguel completed the tattoo fantastically well and the client was extremely happy! |

Sean’s Hoodie Character Sean came into the shop not 100% sure what he was looking for, he wanted two different tattoos's to represent life and death, and he wanted them to have an urban feel. After sitting down and talking with him about why he wanted the tattoo, we decided it would be great to have a similar character on each arm, each representing life and death. I drew this "death" character out in front of Sean and he loved it! Delivering the message he wanted but looking urban and unique at the same time. Below is the completed first tattoo, keep your eyes peeled for the "life" tattoo coming soon! |

Trevor's St George The idea for this tattoo was relatively simple. Trev wanted a St George on a rearing horse on his calf. The flash designs we found were beginning to look a little bit dated, so I set about redesigning this classic concept in my own style, which Trevor was really happy with! |
