My idea for this tattoo developed quite naturally from the initial cassette design to the final piece. it took two sessions - one for the cassette and one for all the tape etc. I had loads of ideas for the tape, where it was going to go, what parts it would link up and the shapes it would make... craig was really helpful, he went through my ideas and made suggestions for what would work best. then we drew it out on my skin with a pen to see how the layout would work. that was really important because i wanted to see how well the tape would wrap around my shoulder so that was super helpful, it gave a much better idea of how it would look when it was done. After that I finished the parts I was designing and took them all to ouch tattoo in ealing where craig drew out the tape for me, sorted out the different sizes for each bit and stencilled my parts of the design. he had a few new ideas then as well so we actually agreed changes to some aspects of the design during the second session. I'm really happy with the final result, craig did an awesome job. The tape looks exactly how I wanted and I'm just stoked on the whole design really. Cheers!

Darek: Darek is a really lovely guy, very quiet but its a comforting quietness. Having had tattoos previously, I found him to be really professional and easy going. He is also really gentle so any worries about 'will it hurt' totally fly out the window with him. I found Darek to be really easy to get along with, really easy going guy! The final design was fabulous, he added his own ideas to the colouring and while it wasn't the most taxing tattoo he'll do, he made a simple design look fabulous. I love it and look forward to more ink from him. ~ Kay.
I had my first tattoo from Darek and found him to be calm and quiet, which really helped as I was really nervous, didn't need him to be too hyper. He was so calm that it put me at ease. I'm really happy with the final result, everyone keeps telling my that the colouring is fabulous and they all really like it. I was a little concerned that my chosen design may be a bit wonky on the bottom of my back but Darek lined it up perfectly and I'm thrilled with the final result. I wanted to make a tiny change on the stencil and he was really easy going and made the change without any trouble. He made my first tattoo experience a really good one and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to him in the future. ~ Sarah.
Chris: You will not meet a nicer guy! He was my first contact with Ouch tattoo and he was really, really helpful! I gave him some ideas and some basic designs and told him they needed tidying which he did perfectly. I told him he had creative license for my design and that he could alter it to make it work both on paper and better yet, on skin. He managed to create the perfect design in about 10 minutes. Throughout the whole process, from first contacting the studio to having the design tattooed, Chris has been a real diamond. He's polite, funny and will bend over backwards to help you out. A real star and an asset to Ouch! ~ Kay
